Qsoft Media Player is an open-source video and audio player that anyone can use and enjoy. Its extreme simplicity can be regarded both as a bonus and a limitation, though – on one hand, it makes it very easy to use even for those who have never used a multimedia player before, while, on the other hand, its absolute lack of support for subtitles or multiple soundtracks limits its usability.
The program’s interface could not be simpler – it will remind you very clearly to Microsoft’s Windows Media Player, and the volume and playback controls provided look exactly the same. Actually, that is basically all you can do with this multimedia player – play back an MP3 audio track or an MP4/WMV video file. The scarce number of media formats supported, together with the above-mentioned limitations, make this player a difficult choice even for those who are afraid of too many settings and complicated interfaces. Most of its potential users will find frustrating the fact that MP3 is the only audio format supported and that WMV and MP4 are the only video types it can play.

I made this in 8th grade, over a weekend. Was a fun little project that helped me get started with software development!
